New for winter 2011 is our value soft wood range. Kiln dried TR26 soft wood is one of the highest grades of soft wood currently on the market and is used for construction of load bearing structures. This is a PEFC certified product which means it has been produced by sustainable and reputable forest owners. The timber has not been treated with chemicals and will burn just as clean as our other logs. Each bag contains approximately the same volume of timber as our regular logs, yet costs significantly less. The timber is cut into pieces which are on average 10 inches or less, which means the majority of the pieces will fit in a standard multi fuel stove. Some pieces may require splitting; however we aim to keep this to a minimum. |
