How will my goods arrive?
Standard delivery is to the kerbside, the delivery vehicle will not leave the highway. Generally goods will be lifted off the vehicle using a vehicle mounted crane or a vehicle mounted fork lift truck. We will deliver goods as close to the delivery address as possible, which is generally kerb side at the front of the property. Any decision to leave the highway is based on the Drivers discretion and you will be required to sign an off road damage liability form. The Driver will not carry goods beyond the kerbside.

Can you lift bulk bags over walls and fences?

YES! To do this the vehicle must be able to park within lifting range of the desired drop point. Where the crane cannot reach the desired drop point, delivery will be made to the nearest point the crane can reach. Please note we cannot drive on the pavement or onto property not owned by you in order to do this. If the crane cannot reach your desired drop point and the order is cancelled for this reason you will not receive a refund in respect of any turf ordered and any other products will be refunded minus a £40 return to sender fee. If you are in any way unsure about this method of delivery please contact our office prior to delivery.

Can I set a delivery time?
Customers can specify an AM or PM delivery. AM is between 8am and 1pm and PM is between 1pm and 5pm.  Please inform us if you require a telephone call prior to delivery. If delivery does not occur within the AM or PM time frame we will refund the AM/PM delivery fee but this will not be grounds for cancellation.

Do I have to be there to accept the delivery?
Yes. We advise customers to be present during the delivery. We may be able to deliver if you are not present however this would require prior agreement. The driver will determine the most appropriate positioning for your goods. With unattended deliveries, we cannot accept any liability for theft, product deterioration or consequences arising from the positioning of your delivery. If in doubt please contact us prior to ordering.

How big is the vehicle that will be delivering my order?
Vehicles may be up to 32 tonnes gross weight. Please be aware of this when ordering. Please consider width / height restrictions, parked cars, trees etc when ordering and advise us of any issues. Please note that skip trucks and bin trucks often have a narrow track body and although you may have had a large vehicle to the premises before it may not mean our vehicle will be able to access so please check when ordering. If your access route is less than 3.5m wide or has height restrictions below 4m we would ask that you contact our office before you place your order. Failure to notify us of the above prior to delivery means you will not be entitled to a refund. Where redelivery is possible there will be a redelivery fee of £40 and a full recharge for the redelivery of turf as this is a perishable product which we cannot store.

How quickly do I have to lay turf?
Turf must be installed as soon as it arrives. Once laid it must be watered immediately please refer to our lawn care guide or consult a professional. Do not leave turf rolled up overnight. Do not water / cover whilst rolled up. If turf is not laid promptly it may deteriorate rapidly we will not accept responsibility for such deterioration, and will not accept a return of the turf due to such deterioration. It is therefore your responsibility to ensure that you are able to lay the turf before agreeing a delivery date.  If you have a large area to install we strongly advise you select the AM delivery option to ensure your turf arrives early. If delivery does not occur within the AM or PM time frame we will refund the AM/PM delivery fee but this will not be grounds for a cancellation.

Can you advise me on after care?
Yes we would be happy to advise all our customers, please see the lawn care section which is updated on a regular basis. Customers should be aware that the ongoing condition of turf will be dependent on factors such as weather conditions or unintended blown or animal/bird carried seeding etc, and will also depend on your care of the turf after delivery. If unsure please consult a professional.
